How it works

One coordinated journey, seven steps.

From your first message to follow-up at home, one coordinator is accountable at every step. Here's the whole journey, what you receive at each stage — and the operating procedures behind it.

The GoChinaCare journey in seven coordinated steps
1

Tell us what you need

Share your situation and any records. Your care coordinator reviews it personally and responds within 24 hours with an honest fit assessment — including when we think you shouldn't travel.

YOU GET: fit assessment + next-step plan
2

Case review & doctor match

Our clinical network team matches your case to vetted hospitals and physicians, with credentials and relevant case volume documented. Prefer certainty first? Add a remote second opinion before deciding anything.

YOU GET: 1–3 hospital/doctor options with credential files
3

Treatment plan & itemized quote

You receive one bundled quote: hospital fees, our flat coordination fee, and any travel services — itemized line-by-line. No commitments until you approve it.

YOU GET: itemized bundle quote, valid 30 days
4

Visa & travel arrangements

We prepare visa paperwork (or confirm your visa-free window), and arrange flights, lodging near the hospital, and ground transport to your preferences.

YOU GET: complete travel pack + pre-departure checklist
5

Arrival & on-the-ground support

Airport pickup, your coordinator's local counterpart, and a medical interpreter at every appointment. Reachable 24/7 for the length of your stay.

YOU GET: coordinator + interpreter, 24/7 line
6

Treatment & in-stay care

All clinical decisions are made by your treating physicians. We manage everything around the care: scheduling, translation, family updates, and daily logistics.

YOU GET: managed in-stay experience, documented daily
7

Recovery & home handoff

Before you fly home: complete bilingual medical records, DICOM imaging, prescriptions review, and a written follow-up plan prepared for your home physician. We check in at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months.

YOU GET: bilingual records + follow-up plan + scheduled check-ins
The procedures behind the promise

Four SOPs, in plain English.

SOP 01 · BEFORE YOU FLY

Pre-departure checklist

Nothing is left to memory. Before travel you receive a written pack covering:

  • Confirmed appointment schedule & hospital contacts
  • Visa/entry documents & invitation letters
  • Medication list review & what to bring
  • Payment plan: what's paid, to whom, when
  • Emergency contacts on both continents
SOP 02 · MONEY

Payment procedure

Our coordination fee is paid to GoChinaCare. Hospital fees are always paid to the hospital directly — never wired to us — with your coordinator present to assist. You receive official receipts (fapiao) and claim-ready documentation for every payment. Full details on the Pricing page.

SOP 03 · IF PLANS CHANGE

Changes & cancellation

Before travel: reschedule or cancel coordination with a transparent, published fee schedule — unused hospital deposits follow the hospital's written policy, which we show you upfront. During travel: your coordinator rebuilds the plan same-day if clinical findings change the treatment.

SOP 04 · IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG

Escalation protocol

Every case carries a written escalation path: coordinator (24/7 line) → clinical network lead → hospital international office — with your family kept informed at each step. Clinical complications are handled by the treating hospital's physicians under their emergency procedures; we manage everything around them, including record-keeping you'll want afterward.

Safety & accountability

Built so someone always answers for your case.

We're a care-coordination company, not a hospital — which means our only job is making sure the system works for you.

"If travel isn't right for your case, we'll be the first to tell you."
  • Documented hospital & physician vetting, shared with you
  • Clinical decisions stay with licensed physicians — always
  • Written escalation path for every case
  • Certified medical translation on all records
  • Transparent fee structure — no referral commissions

Step one is free.

Case review within 24 hours. You decide everything after that.
