Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to "consumer health data" as defined by U.S. state laws such as the Washington My Health My Data Act and Nevada SB 370 — that is, personal information linked to you that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status.

What we collect. Health conditions and symptoms you describe to us; medical records, imaging, and test results you choose to share; treatment interests and history relevant to your case; and information inferred from these (such as which specialty fits your needs). We collect it directly from you (forms, email, messaging, portal uploads) — we do not buy health data, and we do not collect it from advertising networks.

Why we collect it. Solely to provide the services you request: preparing your case review, obtaining physician review and quotes, coordinating treatment, travel, and follow-up, and communicating with you about your case. We do not use consumer health data for advertising, and we do not sell it. We collect and process it with your consent, given at the point you share it.

Who can access it.Members of your GoChinaCare care team on a need-to-know basis; the hospitals and physicians reviewing or providing your care; our China-based care coordination partners under confidentiality and data-protection obligations; and service providers that host and secure our systems. A current list of the categories of third parties (and, where required by your state's law, the specific affiliates and processors involved in your case) is available on request at hello@gochinacare.com.

Your rights.You may (a) confirm whether we collect, share, or process your consumer health data and access it; (b) withdraw consent to further collection or sharing; (c) have your consumer health data deleted, including from our processors' systems, subject to legal retention duties; and (d) appeal a refusal by replying to our decision, after which we will re-review and respond with an explanation. To exercise any right, email hello@gochinacare.com with the subject "Health data request." We will verify your identity, respond within the time your state's law requires (and in any case within 45 days), and will never discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
