Where you'll be treated — and how we decide who makes the cut.
China runs one of the world's largest hospital systems. We work only at the top of it: Grade IIIA tertiary hospitals and internationally accredited centers, through international departments built for patients like you.
What "Grade IIIA" actually means.
China's national accreditation framework ranks hospitals in three grades with subdivisions. Grade IIIA (三甲) is the highest — large teaching hospitals with the strictest quality, research, and equipment requirements, representing roughly the top 3% of the system.
Grade IIIA tertiary
1,000+ bed teaching hospitals leading national specialty programs — where China's most experienced surgical teams and highest case volumes are concentrated.
International departments
Separate wings inside top hospitals with independent scheduling, English-speaking staff, private rooms, and streamlined billing — built specifically for overseas patients.
Accredited private centers
Internationally accredited private and specialty hospitals (including JCI-accredited facilities) — often the right fit for dental, screening, and elective care.
Five checks before any hospital reaches your shortlist.
Accreditation & licensing
Grade IIIA status or international accreditation verified against official registries — documented in the credential file we share with you.
Specialty depth & volume
The department must have documented case volume in your specific procedure — not just the specialty in general.
Physician credentials
Named physicians with verifiable titles, training background, and procedure experience. You see this before choosing.
International-patient readiness
English-capable staff or dedicated interpreters, international billing, and experience with overseas records and follow-up.
Transparent pricing agreement
The hospital must commit to itemized bundle pricing in writing — if they won't put it on paper, they don't make the list.
Specific hospital and physician options — with full credential files — are shared during your case review, matched to your case. We don't publish a static list because the right hospital depends on your procedure, not our marketing.
Five hubs, matched to your case.
Shanghai
China's largest international-patient hub; deep bench across nearly every specialty with the most English-ready hospitals.
Beijing
Home to China's flagship national specialty hospitals and its most senior academic physicians.
Shenzhen
Fast, modern, and closest to Hong Kong — strong for dental, screening, and elective procedures with quick scheduling.
Guangzhou
Southern China's medical center with major tertiary hospitals and strong TCM institutions.
Hainan · Boao Lecheng
China's special medical zone: access to 512 approved-abroad drugs and devices (Qiushi, 2025) not yet available elsewhere in China — plus recovery in a resort setting.
