China runs one of the world's largest CAR-T ecosystems — multiple approved products and among the highest clinical-trial volumes globally — at treatment costs far below the U.S. list price of $400,000+ before hospital fees. Eligibility is strict, screened by a specialist before any travel discussion, and many inquiries simply don't qualify.

How access works for an international patient

Unlike a knee replacement, CAR-T pricing swings with the product, indication, hospital, and monitoring course. Publishing a headline figure would either mislead you high or low.
