How much does a dental implant cost in China? (2026 prices)

By the GoChinaCare care coordination team · Updated July 2026 · 8 min read

A single dental implant — fixture, abutment and crown — typically costs $800–1,200 at accredited international dental centers in China, vs an average $4,500 in the U.S. (2026). All-in with flights and a 6-night stay, most patients still pay roughly half the U.S. implant-only price. Full math below.

KEY FACTS
  • Single implant incl. crown: $800–1,200 in China vs. ~$4,500 U.S. average
  • Full-arch (All-on-4): $6,500–9,000 vs. $25,000+ in the U.S.
  • Zirconia crown: $300–450 vs. ~$1,600 · Veneer per tooth: $350–500 vs. ~$1,800
  • Typical single-implant trip: 5–7 days, one visit for most cases with adequate bone
  • Prices are bundle rates from partner-clinic agreements, confirmed in an itemized quote before travel

Why the gap is this large

The difference isn't quality of hardware — accredited Chinese clinics place the same globally distributed implant systems U.S. dentists use, with the brand documented on your quote. The gap comes from labor costs, chair-time economics, and vertically integrated digital workflows (in-house CBCT imaging and same-visit CAD/CAM crowns), plus negotiated bundle pricing rather than fee-for-item billing.

What's inside the bundle

A proper bundle quote itemizes: implant fixture (brand and model), abutment and crown, CBCT imaging, surgeon and chair fees, anesthesia, and follow-up checks during your stay. On top sit two transparent lines: the facilitator's flat coordination fee and any travel services you choose. If a quote you receive — from anyone — isn't itemized to this level, ask why.

The all-in math for a single implant

Illustrative: hospital bundle ≈ $900 + coordination fee ≈ $400 + 6-night travel package ≈ $1,100 → ≈ $2,400 all-in, against $4,500 for the implant alone at home.

For an All-on-4 case the same math lands around $10–13K all-in versus $25–50K in the U.S.

One trip or two?

Most single implants with adequate bone finish in one 5–7 day stay using immediate-load protocols. Cases needing extraction-then-heal or bone grafting split into two shorter trips several months apart — a legitimate facilitator tells you which applies before you book anything.

Quick answers

Is cheaper dental work lower quality?
The materials are the same global brands; verify by requiring brand/model on the quote. Quality varies by clinician, not by country — which is why named-dentist credentials matter more than the price.
What about aftercare in the U.S.?
You return with complete imaging and bilingual records; any U.S. dentist can continue routine care. Implant warranties, where offered, are honored through the treating clinic — get the terms in writing.
